Academic collaboration

Jaipur Research and Educational Society (JRES) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to fostering education, research, and social welfare. Based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, our society works relentlessly towards creating an impact in the fields of humanities, social sciences, journalism, and mass communication.

We aim to provide a platform for scholars, educators, and students to collaborate and innovate through research and educational initiatives. Our primary focus lies in improving the educational landscape, driving research in critical areas, and participating in community welfare through awareness programs and social activities.

Since its inception, JRES has contributed significantly to the academic community by organizing conferences, workshops, and various outreach programs. We have organized over 10 national and international conferences, published various regular and special issues of peer-reviewed journals, and conducted community outreach programs benefiting over 1,000 individuals annually.

Vision

Jaipur Research and Educational Society (JRES) envision becoming a leading center for research, education, and social impact. We aim to foster intellectual growth and societal awareness in the fields of humanities, social sciences, management, journalism, and mass communication, creating a platform that empowers individuals and communities.

Through collaboration and innovation, we seek to drive positive changes and contribute to both academic excellence and community welfare. Our long-term goal is to establish JRES as a globally recognized academic and research institution, contributing significantly to the development of society through research and education.

Mission

Our mission is to enhance education and research in humanities, social sciences, management, journalism, and mass communication by conducting impactful studies and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.

We are dedicated to organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences that facilitate the exchange of ideas on key issues. Additionally, we actively engage in social welfare activities like tree plantation drives and awareness campaigns to contribute to environmental sustainability and societal well-being.

In next few years JRES aims to collaborate with 100+ academic institutions and conduct 50+ research projects on pressing social issues. We are committed to global collaboration, working with institutions and thought leaders worldwide to address societal challenges.

Academic Research

JRES is committed to advancing knowledge and research in the fields of humanities, social sciences, management, journalism, and mass communication. We focus on developing new insights into societal issues and media developments through high-quality research and education.

Conferences & Seminars

JRES regularly organizes national and international seminars, workshops, and conferences that bring together experts, educators, and students to discuss contemporary challenges and opportunities in social sciences and journalism.

Social Welfare

Beyond academic work, JRES is actively involved in social welfare activities such as tree plantation drives and other community engagement projects that aim to improve environmental sustainability and public welfare.

Environmental Initiatives

In 2023, JRES's tree plantation initiative resulted in the planting of over 500 trees in the Jaipur region, contributing to local environmental sustainability efforts.

We conduct various awareness campaigns that address key social issues, including health, education, environmental sustainability, and social justice, to promote a well-informed and responsible society.

Community Awareness

One of our key campaigns in 2024 focused on 'Sustainable Water Usage' across Jaipur, educating over 10,000 individuals on water conservation.

Dr. Amit Verma

President

Dr. Amit Verma is a renowned expert and freelance journalist. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Communication and Management and serves as the elected Vice Chair of the Participatory Communication Research section at IAMCR for the 2024-2027 term. He is also an adjunct faculty member at VAAL University of Technology, South Africa.

Dr. Verma has authored four books and published over 30 research papers and book chapters with renowned publishers like IGI Global, Palgrave Macmillan, and Springer. His areas of expertise include media management, communication, community media, electronic media, and media literacy.

Priya has worked in educational management and community outreach for over a decade, with a strong passion for social justice and environmental sustainability.

Rahul has extensive experience in managing the finances of non-profit organizations and has played a key role in securing funding for JRES's initiatives.
